Marhsall E. Yost

	Marshall E. Yost, 86, of Astoria, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2004 at 7:05 p.m. at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
	Mr. Yost worked for Caterpiller Tractor Company in Peoria for 10 years, farmed in the Astoria area and worked for King-Sealy in Macomb for 30 years, retiring in 1980.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Fulton County Farm Bureau and the Astoria Christian Church.
	He was born June 6, 1917 in Astoria, the son of Henry and Mary (Miller) Yost.  He married Iantha Darlene Walters on May 1, 1941 in Bader and she preceded him in death on August 1, 1987.
	Surviving are two sons, Stephen M. Yost of Havana and Wendell W. (Beverly) Yost of Du Quoin; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Samuel (Ruth) Yost of Modesto, Calif. and one sister, Ruth Waggoner of Astoria.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and two sisters, Margaret Welch and Anna Davison.
	Funeral services were held Thursday, June 3 at 11 a.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Jim Comstock and Gary Sheets officiating.  Interment was in Astoria Cemetery.
	Friends called Wednesday, June 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ava.
	Memorials may be made to Astoria Christian Church.
